开展区域核酸检测是为了尽早发现新冠病毒感染者，以便“早发现、早报告，早隔离、早治疗”，追踪与感染者密切接触人员，然后实行隔离观察，这样才能尽早切断传播链，防止疫情扩散。特别是针对现在“传播隐匿性极强”的新冠病毒奥密克戎变异株，当疫情发生后，及时开展重点区域的全员核酸检测尤为重要。

The purpose of regional nucleic acid test is to detect infected people as early as possible, so as to enable early detection, early reporting, early isolation and early treatment. Close contacts of the infected can be traced and quarantined for observation in this way to cut the chain of transmission and prevent the spread of epidemic as soon as possible, especially for the COVID-19 omicron variant with strong and stealth transmission. 2.为什么要多次进行核酸检测？

为了筛查出潜在的感染者，需要多次进行核酸检测。人从感染新冠病毒到核酸检测阳性的这段时间，叫“窗口期”，不同的人会有差别。一次检测结果阴性时，并不能说明就是安全的，也许在下一次检测时可能转为阳性。另外，上一次的阴性结果，只能证明采样之前的感染情况，如果采样之后又被感染的话，不进行核酸检测就无法了解其感染情况。因此，有时必须进行多次核酸检测，才能筛查出潜在的感染者。

Multiple nucleic acid tests are needed to screen out potentially infected people. The period between the infection and a positive nucleic acid test is called the “window period”, in which symptoms can vary from person to person. One negative test does not mean you are safe, and it may turn positive next time. In addition, the last negative result can only show the situation before testing. If infected after the test, the infection cannot be known without a new nucleic acid test. As a result, multiple tests are sometimes necessary to screen out potentially infected individuals.

3.做核酸检测时要注意什么？

3. What should we pay attention to when testing?

一是采样前2小时内不进食、不喝酒。

(1) Do not eat or drink within 2 hours before the testing.

二是进入采样现场，全程戴好口罩，不要吸烟，不要大声喧哗，最好不要交谈。

(2) Wearing mask all the time. Do not smoke and speak loudly and had better not talk with others.

三是听从工作人员安排，有序排队，人与人保持“一米线”安全距离。

(3) Follow the staff’s arrangements to queue up in order and keep a “one meter line” safe distance between people.

四是采样时，被采样者不出声、不做深呼吸，摘下口罩张大嘴即可。

(4) Take off the mask and open mouth wide without making a sound and deep breath when testing.

五是采样过程中，不要接触采样人员所用的任何物品和采样台。

(5) Do not touch any items and the table used by the medical personnel during the testing process.

六是采样完毕后，立即戴好口罩离开，有条件时可使用免洗手消毒液或消毒湿巾擦拭双手。

(6) Leave immediately with the mask on after the test. Clean your hands with hand sanitizer or disinfectant wipes when available.
